In case the title didn’t give it away… We’re pregnant! Sometime on or around November 3rd our new baby (aka cheeky monkey) will enter the world. No, we’re not going to find out if it’s a boy or a girl. Yes, we are so happy & blessed. Pray for us!
Here’s a picture of the little one. Head on the left, arms straight up, legs tucked against the tummy. And here’s audio of the heart beat: Baby beat

So we’ve had Frisbee for a little over a week now and it’s become very clear to us that we need to figure out some way to train him. We bought a few books including “the Complete Idiots Guide to Puppies” as well as a few beagle focused magazines. These haven’t helped much. So Nicole decided to go to Borders (bookstore) to try and find something that would address our needs a little more specifically. This is what she found:

How to Be Your Dogs Best Friend by the Monks of New Skete! This is awesome! Check out their website: www.newsketemonks.com. They are a monastic community in New York that trains dogs and they have a TV show on Animal Planet called Divine Canine: With the Monks of New Skete. This is too cool. They started out as a Franciscan Eastern Catholic Monastery which has since gone the Orthodox way. I guess Frisbee was part of God’s plan for our life after-all.

Lots of happy stuff going on in the Feliciano house. We graduated (and with highest honors even – Summa Cum Laude)! We’re pretty proud of ourselves… and happy to be finished with school (for now).

What else is new? We have a new beagle puppy. His name is Frisbee and he’s really cute. Everyone is encouraged to come by and meet him. We’ll see how he does with the kitties.

Loads of pictures to share from Pascha (Easter) and Bright Week. We had the cooooolest feast day at the Timothy’s followed by 4 days in New York with Rico, Sara, & Baby Diego (our godson). The pictures say it all. Isn’t Nicole a great photographer? Click me to see more pictures.

Check out Diego’s website here. Comments anyone??
Our friend Cory is an amazing photographer. He is trying to build a photography business and asked us if we would let him take some pictures of us. We were more than willing to help out and we think the shots came out great. The pictures are engagement style portraits. If your looking for a good photographer, Cory’s the man. Check all of his pictures out here: www.corylundquist.com

It’s been way too long since we’ve posted anything. What’s new you ask? We’re god parents! Baby Diego is our beautiful god son and we were blessed to be with him at his baptism earlier this month. See the post below for a link to Diego’s blog. We had a wonderful Christmas. Nicole got an awesome new camera (see the pictures below). We also took a snowy trip to Yosemite. Oh yeah…. I turned 30 and Nicole threw me the funnest most surprising surprise party ever.
Check out some of Nicole’s new camera pictures here.
Here I am at my b-day party…

Rico and Sara had a baby! Baby Diego was born yesterday November 20 at about 12 PM. Babies are amazing! Look how he’s checking out the world for the first time.

I ditched the photos link to get the site ready for our travel journal. We’ll post photo pages by location once we start posting for the trip. When we get back I’ll consolidate everything into a photos page with sub pages by trip and location. We’re racing to get things packed because we have a busy weekend ahead of us. I’m so excited to leave on Wed morning. We have to leave here for LAX at 3:30 AM. I love leaving early for trips. I remember as a kid going on vacation with my parents and we would always leave for vacation before sunrise.
On another note, we’ve run across some good music recently. The first is by a singer named Juana Molina. I heard her on NPR and loved it. She has a bunch of free MP3′s here. The other is an album we just bought. It’s an Iron and Wine and Calexico EP and it’s really good.
One more thing… We got a new Canon SD600 (camera). I like it except for one thing, the screens too big. I get sick when I use it.

Yesterday was our 7th anniversary and I love Nicole so much more every year. I am forever blessed to have such a wonderful wife and friend. We love each other even more now than we did back then. May God grant us many more years!

10 years later and still rockin’!!
It’s been a long time since we’ve posted anything. Hopefully you haven’t grown tired of checking out our neglected blog. Here’s what we’ve been up to.
Why no entries for so long?
We had to double up on classes at school which means that we were taking a double full load for a while. One of the classes was statistics and required 20+ hours of work each week. It was actually a pretty fun class and we both got an A. We’re back on our normal schedule now.
What’s new at our house?
New computer stuff. Earlier this month we welcomed a brand new Apple Pro Cinema display into the family. Guess which podcast is open in iTunes…

How’s school going?
We are in Social and Cultural Psychology. While the content of the class is very cool we have been getting annoyed at the theological tangents that the teacher keeps taking us on.
What’s coming up?
Two weeks until Lent. We are really looking forward to Lent and Pascha!
Other stuff?
Here’s a few pictures that I found on our camera.

Christmas Eve

Disneyland with the Timothys

Tim’s fort (in our kitchen)
Nicole and I went to Disneyland with the Timothys yesterday. We spent an amazing 13 hours in the park. I think that’s the longest day I’ve ever had at an amusement park. We had an awesome time. Got to try the newly remodeled Space Mountain which was very cool but a little disappointing. I was hoping they would have done much more with it. We were happy that it was much darker on the ride; a little more like the original. One of the biggest things we were looking forward to was the fireworks show. About 2 hours before the start of the show it began to rain. The show went on as planned but you couldn’t see the fireworks behind the clouds. It was pretty cool to see a the show in the rain though. We had a great time. Thanks mom and Tim for getting us in!

That’s Nicole with 129,000 points and me with only 38,000. : (
Just in case you noticed… Our website has been going up and down all day. I’ve been fighting with the CSS to get everything consistent in Internet Explorer. I just pulled the site up on IE 6 from my PC and it looks horrible! I can’t do anything about it because IE renders fonts in a chunky and ugly sort of way. If you are visiting this website on IE from a PC then please, please, start using Firefox, get it here: getfirefox.com. If you are on a Mac DO NOT use IE, and if you are using Safari make sure to empty the cache and refresh this page.

Happy thanksgiving! We had a fairly laid back day and missed those of you we weren’t able to see.
This is just a random post and I want to point out that I almost got this in within a month of my last post. More posts to come because I finally got this website moved from my laptop to my desktop. Hopefully this will give me more incentive to post. I changed things around again, I hope you enjoy it.
Is that a turkey or a shaved cat? Thanks for stopping by!

I know, I know…. We said that we would post again with all sorts of nerdy goodies about the best and worst of Europe. We’re busy and lazy. I hope our website hasn’t been deleted from your bookmark menu. I guess its better late than never, besides I wanted to give the site a face lift. I actually had a best & worst of Europe list but Nicole made fun of me for making it.
We hope you’re all doing well. We’re doing fine but as always we’re a little bogged down. We’re beginning to plan our next trip to Europe which may be for my 30th birthday. We’re thinking about Prague and Amsterdam. We’ll keep you posted.
We’re hoping that this website is not just going to be an expose of our purely materialistic endeavors. If we get inspired we will try to post our deepest philosophical musings as well. : ) To balance things out a little I’ll point you to this hymn, sung by the monks at St. Anthony Monastery in Arizona. Visit them here: www.stanthonysmonastery.org
Thanks for stopping by. We would love to here from you! More to come soon…
